Booking online on my cellphone was really difficult. It wouldn’t accept photos of my ID taken with the phone camera. Luckily, a woman, though I’m not sure if she worked there, let me use her phone.

The accessible location made for a good stay, and housekeeping was nice, though they couldn’t get the TV signal fixed despite trying repeatedly. The room was only somewhat clean. Its bed frame was a little stripped, but you barely notice it, and the TV is around 20 inches. Bath supplies are limited, and the dipper smelled bad. For the price, though, it was relatively good.
Water pressure was good, and the heater was okay, but there were small cockroaches in the unit. The shower can leak out of the toilet room if its nozzle is pointed toward the door. The doorknob felt loose, and the metal bed frame creaked, maybe because a screw had loosened. In the morning the room gets very bright, with no blinds, and the EDSA traffic and sirens are always audible. The Deluxe room was very noisy.
The location is excellent and the price is reasonable, and I appreciate them accommodating me for both nights. I may check back later to see if things improve. On the first night, I was put in a room without a water heater or WiFi, and the entrance door and lock made me feel insecure. When I complained, the woman in charge argued that the room was fine. She required a P500 deposit for any lost or damaged items. I asked to inspect the room together before signing in, but she was reluctant to get up, so the housekeeper checked it instead. We found lipstick stains on the bedspread. They said there were no more sheets to replace it with, and the woman noted the stain but hadn’t known the heater was missing. I assume the water heating is centralized. I changed rooms on the second night, but several things there weren’t working properly, including the clothes and towel hangers and the TV. The walkways outside were black with car soot and dust, which stuck to our shoes and got tracked into the rooms. Stepping onto the wet bathroom floor gave me a sense of how dirty things were. Hotels should follow basic hygiene and health practices to keep rooms clean.
The location is handy, right along EDSA and within walking distance of Mega Mall, with laundry shops nearby. The place itself was nice, and we stayed four days. But our last night was a disaster: power went out only in our room. No air conditioning or lights, and we couldn’t charge our phones or laptop. The food in the refrigerator spoiled. Building security said the tenant hadn’t paid the electricity bills.
