The staff were friendly and accommodating, which saved this from a one-star rating. Everything else was terrible, especially the noise. From the deluxe room with a window, it was so loud it felt like being outside, and sometimes you could hear the live band and KTV at once. The locks in my first room were loose, so as a solo traveler I didn’t feel safe and asked to move. There’s no desk for working or eating. The elevator is inside an arcade, meaning pretty much anyone there can get to it.

Everything is close by: Parkmall, food hubs, Time Square, and the terminal are only a few steps away. The hotel sits right in the heart of the city, making it very convenient to get around. The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel at home, and the free gym is a great bonus. A good-value stay if you want comfort, easy access, and warm hospitality.

I stayed one night on 12th January and couldn’t find my keycard, so I paid 500 pesos for a spare. A couple of days later I found the original in my backpack and called the hotel to ask for the money back. The manager said no. I’m wondering if they’ve changed the lock already. If not, I still have the card. Wouldn’t that be a security issue?

The music went on until 3am, so I slept terribly. I knew it was on Times Square, but I didn’t expect not to be able to sleep. The room AC showed 18, but I set the remote to 20. By morning there was a puddle on the floor and no AC. The shower had no hot water, and the fridge didn’t keep things cold. I’d booked just one night, thankfully, and won’t return. I usually stay next door at Big Hotel, which is very professional. When I arrived, they told me generator power would be available for an hour and to come back then. Kojo needs to train the staff. You can also enter from the street straight into the lifts, so they don’t control access. Who’s walking around the hotel?
