The modern-looking interior is decent, and the staff were polite and attentive to what I needed. It’s also handy if you need to be near SLEC and the U.S. Embassy. Still, I’d keep it as a last choice. The Wi-Fi only worked reliably in some parts of my room, and the cockroach issue needs management’s attention. I lost sleep worrying they might crawl on me, and I saw a foreign guest come out of his room and ask staff to spray for them.
The staff were so kind and helpful that we felt at home, and we had everything we needed for a simple stay. You can really feel the welcoming spirit of the Philippines here. I’d gladly come back and recommend the place. Thank you, Salamat Po!
If you’re going for a US Visa interview, the location is great. There’s free mineral or filtered water, and when I arrived around 2 AM without cash for the deposit because I hadn’t had time to withdraw, they let me leave my ID instead. The room was basic and clean, though it had a bit of an old smell. Maybe airing it out when it’s empty would help.
I booked four days through agoda because of my US visa schedule, and the hotel was quite near the US embassy. I was surprised by how much I liked it. The room was super clean, and the friendly, lovely staff made the stay enjoyable. It’s also easy to get to restaurants, 7elven, laundry, and ATMs. I had a quiet, peaceful time here and will definitely come back. Kudos to all the staff and management!
I stayed two nights in the Solo Room, which was just the right size for me as a solo traveler, with a hot and cold shower. It’s a convenient choice for a night near a US Visa appointment, about a 10-12 minute walk from the US Embassy. My main issue was the loud air-conditioning, which kept me from sleeping peacefully. The pillowcase and duvet cover also smelled used, but when I asked, they brought a fresh pillowcase to my room right away.
