The elevator wasn’t working, so we had to take the emergency stairs. They felt creepy, with poor lighting and the smell of dead rats. Our room was untidy, the sheets had stains and hair on them, and the towels were so nasty I couldn’t imagine using them. The automatic door lock malfunctioned, so we had to move rooms after it wouldn’t open. Our belongings were left inside, and we had to wait until morning to get them. Absolutely the worst hotel we’ve ever checked into.

We asked about the supreme room for guests coming from the provinces, but the receptionist gave terrible customer service. She didn’t assist us, just pointed to the room rates, didn’t smile, and looked like she hated her job. The place felt dull and short on hospitality. I’m glad we didn’t book it for our guests. It’s not accessible either: with the elevator down, it wasn’t PWD or senior citizen friendly, and staff weren’t sure when it would be fixed, perhaps not even for a few days.

The itchiness started as soon as I checked in at Amore Hotel Manila, and I couldn’t relax or feel safe staying in the room. I had booked several days, but left and asked for a refund right away. The hotel returned only 50% of what I paid, which felt unfair since I couldn’t continue the stay because of the room’s condition. I had to accept the partial refund and book somewhere else in a better location. It was frustrating and unpleasant, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

My wife booked several days at Amore Hotel Manila hoping for a comfortable, relaxing stay, but she felt itchy almost as soon as she arrived and settled in. She was uneasy and stressed instead of being able to rest. It made her question the hygiene of the room, bedding, and the hotel’s general upkeep. That kind of discomfort right after check-in is a serious cleanliness concern, and it shouldn’t happen with proper cleaning and quality checks. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel unless they make serious improvements to cleanliness.

A very nice hotel, especially convenient for getting to the terminals.
