We had a great stay at sagastrand beach resort. It’s a wonderful place for locals and foreigners, and with two pools and restaurants it works well for all kinds of occasions. The hospitality was excellent. Ms. Helen, Nica, Gay Marie, and the rest of the staff made us feel welcome. Thank you so much for letting us check in early. From: Nam & Donald

The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and courteous. It’s a beautiful place. Thanks, I’ll definitely come back.

It’s a beautiful place, still being developed, and I felt very safe. The staff and people around the resort were all kind and accommodating. We rented a house for three days, so I thought billiards should have been included, but we had to pay extra. The pool was salty, though refreshing. It would’ve been nice if they’d developed the beach too, so we could swim there.

The accommodations were a little above average, but nothing in particular stood out. The pool was in good shape when I visited, and the roof deck has a great view over the water at night. Check prices on different booking apps and ask at the desk too. You have a signal, and depending on what they tell you, you may save 1000p per night. The food was edible, but overpriced and mediocre. The beach was okay and fairly clean, though the sand wasn’t great. Keep an eye out for debris. If your shots aren’t up to date, going barefoot may not be the best idea.

The place was just okay. It’s beautiful, the staff are friendly, and my room was fine with no problems. The food was okay too. But the beach walkway was run down, and a missing partition meant I couldn’t get across to the other half. There were no other guests that I could see. I usually like quiet, but this was too much. The pool had no splash of activity, and the walkway and beach were empty and silent. Having the place to yourself sounds like a dream, but feeling like the only guest wasn’t that enjoyable. Someone on the property also approached me about island hopping, advertising his boat parked next door, though I’m not sure if he was a passerby. I asked about paying by card since I saw a card terminal, but the staff said they couldn’t take payment because the internet was slow. They were able to stream movies on their computer just fine, so I think they wanted cash only. I’d booked online, but they acted surprised when I checked in.
