For my work trip, being able to walk to Mercury Drug, Watsons, cafés, and restaurants was a big plus. The hotel is beside Jollibee, and City Hall and the city center are easy to reach. It's also neat and comfortable, with friendly, attentive staff. I enjoyed having danggit for breakfast every morning. I'd read that the nearby church bell might be loud around 4 a.m. It did wake me, but the low, gentle sound wasn't bad. In Bohol, high-pitched bells right across from a parish church made things uncomfortable. Here, the bell felt more like a quiet morning reminder than a disruption. The location and service make this a good choice for work or leisure in Ormoc.

Breakfast was pretty good, and the room was quiet despite being just off the main road behind the JollyBee. Check-in was quick, and the staff were helpful. Parking is limited, with a lot in an alley behind the hotel. The rooms were clean, the beds were good, and the aircon was excellent, though everything else felt basic, which was fine. The nearby church starts ringing its bells around 4:30 a.m. for 10 to 15 minutes, then about every two hours. That's not the hotel's fault, but it wasn't good for me. The hotel advertised wifi and hot water, but my room had neither, and no partial refund was offered. The room ended up feeling too expensive for what I got.

The church down the road plays loud music at 4 a.m. for about 30 minutes every day, and twice on Sunday. That's the only downside I noticed. The food was unavailable after 3 p.m., but there were plenty of places within walking distance. Friendly service, good food, and reliable wifi made this a place we love staying. I'll definitely look to stay here again.

The restaurant currently serves breakfast only, but there are plenty of nearby places to eat, so it wasn't a big deal. The rooms were clean, the service was nice, and the location was convenient: close to the city center while still in a quiet neighborhood.
