The patio is a nice place to relax, and the boat to the sand bar leaves right out front. CafeRoniq is across the road and serves very good local food. It's a reasonable walk to the whale watching area, and the place is clean and good for what it is. The rooms are small, though, and the shower has no hot water. I'd recommend it.

We couldn't wait to leave, and had a bus at 7. The bungalow out back had a cleaner playing awful music extremely loudly from 5AM. The room looked nothing like the photos, was dirty and poorly kept, and had barely enough space for two people around the bed. There was one socket hanging off the wall, so everyone charged phones in the shared seating area. The power was slow and kept cutting out. The shower was cold, and the owners gave us the room then disappeared. We never saw them again. We said we don't eat meat, but were pointed to a steak house across the road. There was a sleepy security guard, and anyone could walk in from the street or the pebbled waterfront. No kitchen, and although there was a water dispenser, there were no cups. The other positive reviews must be fake, for sure. Awful place. If I could, I'd give it zero stars and recommend bulldozing it.

The food was terrible and expensive. I paid so much for a tiny piece of burnt chicken and a cup of rice. There were cockroaches all over the bathroom, and a thousand roosters seemed to crow day and night, making sleep impossible. Power kept going out, and with such a small room that meant no AC. It turned into a sauna while we tried to sleep. I've stayed in plenty of bad hotels in years of traveling, but this was the worst I've ever had. You'd be better off rolling out a sleeping bag in the street. Do not stay here.

We stayed in 2017, and the website and photos were misleading. We nearly got scammed when we ordered breakfast. Book at your own risk.

There isn't a restaurant on site, but a few small shops run by locals are right outside the resort. They also have a hot and cold water dispenser guests can use freely.
