We found the stay really comfortable, almost like being at home, and the staff were kind from the moment we arrived. Someone was waiting to help with our bags when the bus pulled in, which I appreciated even though it wasn't something they had to do. The landlady greeted us, gave us the keys, and speaks Tagalog very well. We were there for two nights. Breakfast isn't provided, but there's a menu for ordering food. We were happy with coffee and noodles in the morning, then bought lunch at the canteen, where riders also stopped to eat. For dinner, we texted the number on the menu and had food delivered to our door. There's a laundry nearby too, if you need clean clothes.

I picked this place because I had to catch an early dawn departure from the port to Siquijor, and the location worked out perfectly. As a solo traveler, I found it secure and conveniently right along the road. I booked through a website for a low price, and the room was worth it. It was spacious, the bathroom was clean, and the shared pantry even had a coffee maker, which made my day. Great value for the money.

The owners even offered us a free ride to the port when they noticed us waiting outside for public transport. The staff were friendly and very accommodating throughout our couple of nights, and helped us plan our whale shark trip. Our room was spacious and clean. Highly recommended.

Finding somewhere this nice for a solo traveler in Oslob had been hard, but this place really worked for me. It's simple, clean, spacious, has a nice view, and the staff are wonderful. The price is on the cheaper side too. It covered what I needed, 10/10.

The rooms were really clean, and the air conditioning, hot shower, and WiFi were all great. What stood out most was how kind, hospitable, and accommodating the staff were. They even arranged a last-minute whale shark swim for us and sent a guide along at no charge. I'd highly recommend La Fela Pension House!
