For the low online price, at least I had somewhere to sleep. WiFi worked okay, and there was free parking, a sea view, a good location, and friendly staff. The room looked good when I stopped by around midday to check it out, so I booked for a couple of nights. In person the clerk said it was 2.5K a night, while online I already knew the price was a fraction of that. There were plenty of downsides. Small ants were everywhere, street noise from trucks made sleeping a chore even though my ocean-facing room was as far from the street as possible, and passing vehicles splashed street water over my car all night. Water pressure gradually dwindled until the water was completely gone by the second evening. The pool was very dirty, so I didn't use it. Early sun poured in because the curtains barely covered the windows. If you sleep late, bring something to cover your eyes. Blackout curtains would've helped. There was no bedside lamp, few amenities, and no to very low water pressure. At check-in, the clerk wrote information by hand in a worn notebook, with no computer. She only used her phone to confirm I had paid. The room had no towels or toiletries. I went to the desk expecting a quick fix, but was told they weren't included in the price and could be purchased. I showed the Booking.com listing, which said toiletries and towels were included. After some back and forth, I gave up on the toiletries and was told only towels and toilet paper were free. Not worth the hassle, so I'd buy soap at Gaisano, not the front desk. I already had toothpaste and a toothbrush.
