Costa Palawan Resort

Costa Palawan Resort is a peaceful, modern place with spacious rooms, comfortable stays, and nice pools. The sea-view area and restaurant are relaxing, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and the quiet setting make it a good choice for a family trip or staycation away from the busy city. There are some downsides: the beach is mostly for the view and isn’t really suitable for swimming. Some rooms and facilities feel old or poorly maintained. WiFi can be weak, food choices are average and not always consistent, and it may get crowded when fully booked.

The private beach was gorgeous. It’s so shallow for a long way out that the water reflected like a mirror. Service was superb and very professional, and the front desk especially made sure we were looked after. Our rooms were good, though some of the finishing wasn’t well maintained and there was noticeable mold on the ceilings. We had a wonderful time otherwise, but the pool entry slopes and has no grip strips. I slipped and fell, dropping my phone in the pool, which felt pretty dangerous.

We stayed twice, first for two nights and then for another three days after one more night. The rooms are spacious, with balconies, comfortable beds, and a quiet atmosphere that made for a restful stay. Check-in and check-out were easy, and early or late timing wasn’t a problem. Service was kind and great, always ready to help. Breakfast was a good buffet, fresh and varied, with fruit. They even arranged a shuttle van to the airport at 5 am. I’d recommend it 100%.

We had the Family Suite last week. It was very spacious and comfortably fit four people, with room for more. The balcony, separate living area, chiller, and kettle were all useful. Breakfast was good, and the staff were approachable, friendly, and always smiling, which helped make the stay more pleasant. The water supply was unreliable, sometimes stopping completely. When it did run, it smelled unpleasant, making it uncomfortable to bathe, and the toilet flush didn’t work properly. The room and sheets had a very old smell, most furnishings looked dated, and the TV wasn’t working during our stay. We’d still consider staying again, but would pick a different room type instead of the Family Suite.
