Solea Coast Resort Panglao

Solea worked really well for me and my family. We had a superb stay: the room was uber spacious, the staff were uber friendly and accommodating, and the place was quiet and strategically located. As someone who goes to the gym often, my one wish is for the gym to be functional and have better, heavier equipment. Otherwise, I almost wish I could gate keep this place, though it definitely deserves even more hype. Thanks again!

The delayed flight could have made the end of our trip stressful, but the receptionist helped arrange a late check-out so we could take our time. The staff were warm and easy to approach throughout, and everything from arrival to departure went smoothly. Our room was cleaned each day, and we enjoyed the buffet's tasty, high-quality choices. We had a really lovely stay at Solea Coast Resort Panglao and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

The rooftop bar staff were welcoming, and the view of planes from up there was nice. The affordable rate and direct beach access are also positives, but there wasn't much else that made me want to recommend this dated hotel. We had several problems in Room 610. The hairdryer barely blew on speed 1, then overheated and shut off within seconds on speed 2. Housekeeping first said that was normal when we asked for another one, and only agreed to replace it after it stopped working completely. The lobby game room needs attention too. The claw machine retracts halfway if you press the button twice, with no warning or instructions posted. The staff member who sold us tokens wasn't helpful when we asked about it. While I was reading there with my child, she also switched off the lights without saying anything. That felt rude and unprofessional. At the pool, the lifeguard was often away from the post, and towels kept running out.

The sea view from our spacious room was lovely, and the staff were so friendly and quick to help with our requests. We booked with breakfast included, and I was happy with the food selection, which changed each morning. They made the trip easier and more enjoyable for us 🤩
