The WiFi was fast, but that’s about the only plus. The room itself was fine, but the place was hard to find and definitely not 2km from the airport as the booking site said. They offered an airport pickup for 800 peso. We took a taxi instead and paid only 270 on the meter. Roosters outside our room crowed all night and into the morning, which is not okay. The shower only had cold water, and the whole area looked like a dangerous slum. If I had to choose between this place and staying at the airport again, I’d pick the airport.

The buffet food was affordable, which earns it two stars, but it didn’t feel worth the time and cost of getting in and out. We paid around P300 per Grab trip. There’s no store nearby for food when you’re hungry, and it’s far from shops and malls. The location on the map is misleading. It says near the airport, but it’s only near the runway. The small hotel is hard to find, in a creepy village that feels like a maze, with the hotel at the end of what felt like a horror maze. The place is spread across different buildings, and the check-in counter is in another building. LOCAL AND FOREIGN GUEST.. DO NOT CHECK IN HERE!

It’s near the airport and on the quieter side of town, with fresh air and little unnecessary car noise. Still, there are a lot of drawbacks: the shower and restroom are separate from the room, and you have to keep an eye on the water. There are two room choices, one with just a wall-mounted unit that honestly does very little to cool the room, or an air-conditioned room at a higher rate.

The drive to the airport isn’t especially quick. It’s about 4 km but took close to 25 minutes. Otherwise, it was a good experience: a simple room with a comfortable bed, working air conditioning, a clean shared bathroom, hot water, and drinks for sale downstairs.

I stayed for a week and found the place clean and peaceful. Breakfast was something I looked forward to every morning, and chef Antoine cooked it excellently. Very nice place at a great price. I recommend it and will be back.
