MCollection - Modern City Stay Near Manila Bay’s Attractions

We skipped the hotel's breakfast and walked about 10 minutes to Starbucks at Ayala Malls instead. The breakfast queue at the hotel was indeed very long around 8:00 AM. We also didn't use the other amenities because the pool area was so popular. The Queen-size bed was extremely comfortable, though the room was on the small side, as we knew when booking. At the ground-floor cafe, I had afternoon tea, and the coffee and cake came promptly and hit the spot. It was a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is relatively new and well-appointed, between Okada and Solaire. Both are easy to reach on foot, though a taxi or ride-hailing service is fine too. Check-in and checkout staff were cheerful and helpful. There was a queue when we arrived, but it moved quickly. There's also a pedestrian bridge connecting the hotel to the Westside City Integrated Resort complex, which is scheduled to open in late 2026. If you're in the area for work or leisure, it's worth considering.

The staff were attentive and professional, and the dining was just as impressive, with excellent food and presentation. I found the atmosphere peaceful and luxurious, with lovely views. The elegant rooms were well maintained, and the property offered world-class comfort and hospitality. A flawless stay, highly recommended for a premium experience.

The room was already filthy when we opened the door. Dark, unidentified stains covered the carpet and mattress protector, and stale cigarette smoke mixed with cheap chemical spray made the place smell sickening. The thin walls meant no rest: violent shouting matches and loud banging in the hallway went on until 4 AM, and staff did nothing to quiet it down. We went out for dinner and someone entered our locked room. My bag had been moved, and several personal items were gone, including expensive boots and cash. I reported the theft at the desk, but the man there shrugged, refused to check the security cameras, and wouldn't call the manager. The lack of security is the worst part. This place feels unsafe and like a serious health hazard. Keep an eye on your belongings and stay elsewhere.

The hotel was elegant, and the staff were professional. Everything would have been wonderful, except for a call from reception at 00.55L while people were already asleep. They said CCTV had picked up yellow luggage and asked if it was ours. We understand they needed to reconcile the baggage as a security measure, but they didn't seem to consider the hour. The phone rang as if it were an afternoon call or a wake-up call. We checked in at 15.00L and had already told reception we'd be checking out at 4am for our very early flight.
