For a short stop in Manila, especially between flights, this place worked really well. It was clean, affordable, and private, and the hosts and staff were so kind and accommodating. I’d recommend it.

We had a comfortable night in the spacious, clean quadruple room while waiting for our connecting flights. The staff member was friendly and helpful, and even showed us how to get around and find cheaper rides. Street noise from cars, motorcycles, and dogs carried on late into the night, but the hostel provided earplugs, which helped.

There’s nowhere to hang out here besides your bunk, since there’s no common area and it isn’t social. The room was far too small, the bunk felt dirty, and I’m sure it had bed bugs. Getting up to the top bunk on that ladder was awkward too. I felt very uncomfortable as a woman in the mixed dorm, and I wouldn’t stay here again. The neighborhood around the hostel was busy and VERY LOUD, so I was lucky to get an hour or two of sleep. I booked because it’s close to the airport, but there are definitely better choices than the mixed dorm. If you do stay, I’d suggest a private room.

It’s handy for the airport, only a few minutes from NAIA, and suited me well the night before my flight. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, so check-in went smoothly. My room was tidy and cleaned regularly. They provide lockers, towels, and drinking water in the 4- and 8-bed dorms. The shared CR was clean and had tissue, handwash, a proper sink and mirror, plus a hair dryer. The beds aren’t soundproof, though, so sharing with strangers or sleeping lightly could be a problem. There’s no parking in the area. For a quick layover or short stay, it’s a good budget choice, and I’d stay again for the convenience.
