The service was quick and the staff were polite, but I wouldn't book here again. There was a dead cockroach on the floor and the shower was broken. The room quality didn't justify the price, and renovation noise was loud enough to disturb my sleep before my flight. There was no coffee or tea, just two bottles of water. Two different staff gave different prices for extra bottles, 12php and 20php. It was okay otherwise.

My wife and I like staying here when I fly into Manila and need a night before continuing on. It's cozy and affordable, and Red Doorz feels like a good deal to me. After traveling, it's comforting to open the fridge and find cold drinks, with snacks waiting on the counter too. I really appreciate that.

The roof deck is a great spot to look at the clear, starry sky at night. The one-bedroom room has a refrigerator, so there's no need to buy ice separately. Puregold JR, 7/11, and fast-food places are nearby, and the gas station is within walking distance.

The only thing keeping this from a five-star rating was the construction and remodeling. The room was spacious, clean, and nice, with a kitchenette. Otherwise, I'd give it five stars.

The staff were good and I had a good experience overall. It's near the airport and other businesses. The bed and some of the amenities are a bit old, but if you're not picky, it should be fine.
