Skylab213B Bed & Breakfast

It was reassuring that the accommodation is in a gated area, but when we reached the guesthouse around midnight, the owner's welcome felt really strange and cold. The place looked super creepy, and we had a bad feeling, so we changed our minds and left while standing outside. We never saw the rooms. We'd tried to cancel a week before arriving, but the owner wouldn't refund our money, so we decided to go anyway.

I was welcomed warmly, and the small room was tasteful, clean, comfortable, quiet, and had air con. The shared bathroom was tiny but clean. There wasn't a refrigerator or anything to make drinks in the room, though I was offered cold water on arrival, and I understand there are coffee facilities on site. The host didn't mention Wi-Fi, though apparently there is some. Breakfast isn't available anymore because of covid, even though the accommodation is still called a bed and breakfast, but that's okay. I left in a rush after mistakenly booking a taxi to come straight away instead of later in the morning, so I didn't get to look around more. Road construction meant the trip to the airport took some time, which is why I rated the location poorly. The gated area was reassuring.

The owner is so friendly and accommodating! There's also 24/7 airport transport for a small fee, between the airport and hotel, or to any place in the Philippines. It made for a very enjoyable stay/vacation!

We had a really memorable stay and will surely come back and recommend skylab to friends. Shiela and Stewart were such accommodating hosts. They made sure we had what we needed, and their service was beyond excellent.
