Solemare Parksuites Condo R Us

Tower C at Solemare is just so-so. The lobby isn’t fully air-conditioned, even though there’s an air curtain at the entrance. The walls clearly have cutouts for tower AC units, but there weren’t any installed when I visited. The elevators were warm and had no ventilation either. Some interior areas were missing baseboards and decor, things management should have checked. For condos costing millions, I’d expect standard HVAC throughout enclosed public areas.

I wouldn’t recommend living in this condo. The building seems to be used as an Airbnb for teenagers much of the time, and the noise from drinking and the swimming area is a problem. It’s also infested with roaches, including in the hallways and rooms.

I made a reservation for my sister in the Philippines from the U.S. and selected the option saying I was booking for someone else. I entered her name and details, and the confirmation email came with her name on it. But when she tried to check in, they wouldn’t let her. They said I had to check in, even though I was in the U.S. and had booked it in her name as the guest. They made it very difficult, and nobody answered my email or messages on Facebook, WhatsApp, or Telegram. It was a stressful experience. They eventually let her into the room. At checkout the next day, they wouldn’t return the security deposit in cash and wanted to send it by G-cash. Eric was rude, spoke very loudly, and made rude comments. He was unprofessional and unhelpful. The booking confirmation also didn’t say which tower the room was in. When I called reception during checkout, a woman was helpful and professional. I didn’t get her name, but I wish I had so I could thank her. Eric shouldn’t be speaking with guests. I won’t stay here again and recommend avoiding this place.

My relatives stayed in the unit for a week and found little roaches there. Ewww. Glad it was only a short stay. The pool looked great from above.
