Wyndham Garden Manila Bay

The staff were the standout for me, especially Aaron, who was professional and attentive throughout. I also really liked the bedding: the soft and firm pillows actually felt different, and both were comfortable. Getting around is easy, with the major malls and entertainment areas a short walk away, though there aren't convenience stores nearby. The hotel itself is pleasant, but traffic noise was relentless, even from the pool-view rooms.

Rica and Cedric on the afternoon and evening front desk shifts were the best part of our stay. They were the friendliest and most helpful people we've met in all our travels. The staff were also happy to move us when we asked to switch rooms. We couldn't sleep the first night in Tower 1 because our room faced busy Roxas Blvd. After moving to the back of Tower 2, the rest of our nights were much quieter. The hotel is brand new, but some construction details seem unfinished. In the walk-in shower, the floor doesn't slope toward the drain, so water pools at the back and then runs under the door, soaking the bathroom floor.

The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious and tidy. We could hear some noise from Roxas boulevard and the rail.
