Airport Hostel

The place was clean and had what we needed for the price, even if it wasn't attractive or welcoming. The staff, though, were very unfriendly, and the way they handled our arrival was strange. We came in late after a long day of travel and learned that the room we'd booked wasn't available, so they put us in a different room with separate beds. When we objected, we got sighs, grumpy looks, and a moody phone call to nearby hostels. They wanted to send us to one with terrible reviews mentioning cockroaches and rats, which we declined, apparently to their displeasure. Another hotel sent us straight back because we'd paid too little to stay there. Then suddenly a room was available after all. There was no understanding of our disagreement and the communication was odd. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The staff were really nice, and the toilets and showers were clean. The location is near the airport, about 150 peso per drive with grab. I paid for a room with a fan, which was fine, but when I got there I found it had no window. That wasn't mentioned on booking, and I wouldn't have chosen it if I'd known. I like having open windows even in the coldest winter days back home, so it was hard to breathe and I didn't sleep well. I think some of the other rooms have windows, but the listing should mention this.

The staff were accommodating and very helpful. The common toilet and bath were great, and there's a small pool for guests. Breakfast is free, with Pancit Canton, Kaffe, bread, marmalade, and peanut butter. The location is excellent near NAIA, and the rooms were perfect for me, clean and air-conditioned. Kudos!

The main problem was how hot my room got, since it only had a fan. Otherwise, it was a nice place to relax, with sofas and chairs, a mini pool, and space to eat food with cutlery provided. There's a free water fountain and a good breakfast, and it's well located for the bus stations.
