Check-in at the main entrance was easy, and the staff were very polite. The location was noisy and far from the main attractions, though, and the pool wasn’t available to us. There’s a small market by the entrance, but the 7 Eleven a few blocks away was better for quick heat-up food. I was in 951b for two nights. It felt like a small, dim older condo or dorm room, and could use an update. It was kind of clean, but there was a strange smell. No hot water at any time, no oven or toaster, just a microwave and two hot plates. There was a kettle but no coffee maker, and only basic utensils, so bring bottled water for tea or coffee. The bed and mattress were hard, the bedding felt cheap, and the bright white indoor lighting was odd. I wouldn’t recommend it or return.

It was fairly peaceful, with little noise, and having an Alfamart on the ground floor was handy for groceries. The unit was smaller than other condos I’ve used, though, and the pool costs extra. The location also felt farther from tourist sites and recreation than the listing suggested. It isn’t very walkable, and the nearest major mall is about 2 km or more away. The rules were unusually strict compared with other condos. Security could be more welcoming to people arriving to check in, and you can’t sit on the lobby sofas before you’re checked in. They require a physical ID and take a photo, which I understand, but every visiting guest has to leave an ID at the lobby, unlike places that collect one per group or give a visitor pass. It was a decent stay, but expectations about location, amenities, and policies should be realistic.

On February 5 around 11 a.m., a female security guard from the 8th floor knocked loudly and shouted that there was a MT downstairs, told me to meet them, and said I couldn’t have visitors. I know the rules, and I was sick and asleep. It was very rude. I even booked a The next morning, February 6 at 10:33, a male guard standing near reception stopped me and made the receptionist check whether I had paid for my AirBnB. He works for SMDC, not the BnB host, and the receptionist wouldn’t have my payment details. I showed the AirBnB chat and the AL I’d already shown two days earlier, but he kept asking for it in a high-pitched, rude tone that confused the receptionist. Why did he think he had the authority to check on a guest who partly contributes to his livelihood? The receptionist called the wrong unit owner. It was only resolved when the woman at reception stepped down, without even seeing my payment. Nonsense. This was my third stay at Breeze, and I’ve now encountered two extremely unethical guards, one man and one woman. Admins, please check the CCTV and retrain your staff.

Cockroaches are clearly a problem here. I noticed them on my very first night, as guests apparently do at other places too. Management should inspect every corner of the rooms and actually deal with it.

I wouldn’t recommend this place or come back. I stayed in two units, and both had lots of tiny roaches. They’d suddenly show up in my coffee or crawl right in front of me. Dust, food mess, oil, and grease on the appliances suggest the cleaners aren’t cleaning properly, and that’s helping them multiply. The sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels smelled as if they hadn’t been washed or changed; the corridors were stale and smelled like a market. There’s no luggage area for guests waiting to check in or out, despite all the space. The rules are too strict, too. Pool access costs 150 on the second floor even though the pool is on the 8th, which is inconvenient. Why not take payment at a little desk there? And charging per day is ridiculous, it should cover the stay until checkout. The pool is shallow and seems meant only for kids. People have complained, but nothing has changed. SMDC means “So MABAHO Dami Cockroach!” Freeze, not Breeze, because you’ll just stand there staring at the roaches. If you’re fussy, don’t come, you’ll only get annoyed. Sorry, just being honest!
