I had to keep asking for help, which was annoying. I asked several times to get the wifi fixed, but nobody came at first. When someone finally did, they couldn’t make it work, so they moved me to another room where the wifi did work. The roaches were in that room too, though, and nobody seemed to care. I repeatedly asked for the room to be cleaned and for towels. The lady at the front desk was rude every time I brought a friend to visit. She kept judging me and eventually said I couldn’t have a guest. A male guard called the host, who said I could have up to two visitors. The next time, the lady was rude again and said I couldn’t have anyone over, so I told her to call the host. It’s not her place to judge who I invite when we’re allowed two guests and aren’t causing a disturbance. If anyone was causing one, it was her. She was a complete insult. I told her she should accommodate guests and make people feel welcome. I hope she gets fired. It’s one of the worst places I’ve stayed. It’s dirty, has roaches, and the shower water pressure is weak. The lady at the front desk is just plain rude. I don’t recommend it. I guess you get what you pay for, and maybe the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

The room was filthy and smelled foul, and the bed was hard as a rock with disgusting sheets. We knew we were booking a cheap night, just after getting off the plane and before leaving in the morning, but this was a disgrace. Terrible.

I was very happy with the apartment I booked, 9/10, but communication needs work. I emailed a few times and got no reply, and they hadn’t provided room details such as the room number. Security helped me get in touch with the owner.

I arrived very late and had a confusing check-in. The person at “reception” made fun of my name and couldn’t explain where I needed to check in. They eventually gave me a room number and said the room was unlocked, but it was locked when I got there. I had to go back and was told the key had to be picked up from the key department downstairs. Checkout was also downstairs, not at reception. I wanted to use the pool, but they wouldn’t let me stay on the premises, even with my luggage. Don’t stay here if you expect an easy, personal check-in or pool access.

For a short Manila layover, this had everything I needed. It was clean and tidy, with a 24-hour desk and security, and it’s an easy walk to Naia Terminal 3. Restaurants and supermarkets are very close too.
