Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts

We keep enjoying our stays at Manila Marriott. The room is cozy and has all the amenities we need, and the sauna and pool are great. Breakfast at Marriott Cafe had plenty to choose from. Check-in was the weak point this time, with a long line. I wish they had more staff there.

The staff were attentive and accommodating, and we enjoyed the buffet's good selection. Our West Wing Premier room was huge, clean, and felt worthy of a five-star stay. The pool and gym were also very nice and well maintained. It's conveniently close to the airport, and we had a great time. I'd definitely recommend it and stay again.

The West Wing rooftop pool was the standout for me. It's lovely by day and gorgeous at night. That wing also has a smaller, still spacious gym and a compact spa with a small sauna and steam room. The steam room was too hot to sit in without a towel. The second-floor pool is spacious, has a kids' pool and a bar open until 6pm. There's also a larger gym and separate men's and women's spas there, with a big Swedish dry sauna that could fit at least 15 people, a similarly sized steam room, plus a spa, bathrooms, showers and vanity area. I also liked the Filipino artworks in the Art Gallery Hallway connecting to the West Wing. I didn't explore much else, though I heard about the bakery, cafe and buffet lunches and dinners. The hotel's location is handy for the airport, Newport mall, Casino and the other hotel facilities. Staff were very attentive. Jim at the 'At Your Service' desk went above and beyond when the awful chemical cleaning smell in our room wouldn't go away after hours. He moved us to a fantastic room nearer our kids, with another lift straight to the Ground floor Marriott Cafe and bakery and the 2nd floor pool and gym. He even sent up a complimentary fruit plate. A fantastic stay in a very amenable hotel.

Being so close to MNL airport and next to a nice mall made the location really convenient. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was incredible, with dishes from lots of different food cultures. The gym has plenty of cardio equipment, with modern TV interfaces for an immersive workout using AI instructors or country landscapes. I'd absolutely stay again.
