Metro Deluxe Residences

I found a surprisingly cheap rate for Metro Deluxe Residences through RedDoorz, and the rooms were still clean, comfortable and good quality. It's definitely worth considering if you want budget-friendly accommodation without giving up comfort.

The budget-friendly price is a plus, but cleanliness was a concern. I noticed stains on the mattress and pillows, and found a strand of hair when I checked in. Better cleaning and room upkeep would make the stay much better for guests.

If you're after a budget-friendly room, this might be for you, but don't expect much else. The property photos are misleading. There were no toiletries at all, and the staff seemed nonchalant. The room felt like a container van. The AC was so noisy I couldn't sleep. The bed smelled sour, and that smell even got onto our clothes when we lay down. The pillows stank like they hadn't been washed, so we had to cover them before using them. Their covers were dirty white. There was a centipede in the toilet, and we found a worm in the blanket without knowing what kind it was.

Very misleading and disappointing, and definitely not worth the money! They don't tell you that the room you book only has an electric fan. At check-in, the front desk immediately mentions that and pushes you to upgrade to an air-conditioned room with a private bathroom for almost the same price you already paid through Agoda. But the supposedly upgraded room is suffocatingly small, with dirty surroundings. The towels look overused, the bedding is far from clean, and the sheets aren't even white anymore.
