OYO 627 88 Airport Lounge

The lounge was pretty nice, but I couldn't sleep because the mattress was unbelievably hard. Honestly, the airport floor might have been more comfortable. They say it's the Korean style, but I've never had a bed that uncomfortable in Korea.

For a budget stay, the price was great. I booked a small 10-square-meter single room for my cousin for 1,200 pesos, and while the rooms are basic, they come with toiletries, decent AC, and plenty of shared shower rooms. The reception, cafe, restroom, and toilets were clean too. The grounds have a long, roomy driveway, a security booth right inside the gate, good lighting, and some huge old trees. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there's a free airport shuttle and wake-up call. It's under 2 km from Terminals 1, 2, and 4. The residential alley nearby is narrow and crowded, so it's clearly not a five-star place, but I'd recommend it and stay again for those reasons.

It's right by NAIA T1, and the staff are friendly. The place is inexpensive and the facilities were clean. The downsides were the safety concerns in the area, thin walls, no TV, and a hard Asian-style bed that wasn't comfortable for side sleeping.

The free shuttle really helped when I arrived late, since there weren't many taxis around and no Grab cars. Everyone was friendly, and I had a nice stay. I'd recommend it to anyone passing through Manila.
