Sea Residences by ZEN Rooms

We'd booked for a month, but cut our stay short after arriving a little past 8 pm and finding the bathroom filthy. The shower walls and curtain were gross, the faucet had black calcium deposits, and the toilet seat had a yellow stain. The next morning, fruit flies were on the wall, table, and sink. We asked for cleaning, but that didn't get rid of them. When we asked to move, we were told there was no guarantee we'd like another unit because Tower D had cockroaches too. Ericsson was rude and shouted at us instead of trying to calm things down after the dissatisfaction and inconvenience we'd experienced. After 11 pm we were on the phone with Agoda to cancel and check out on the third day. Agoda agreed to refund the unused days, but Ericsson never gave us the promised receipt or returned the 2k cash deposit. We waited in the lobby with two women, one a cleaning lady, who gave us the runaround. When we asked for a bill for what they said we owed for the third day, they each disappeared, one after the other. We couldn't check out because we'd been held up on the phone with Agoda customer service past 11 pm. We can't recommend this place to family, relatives, or friends.

Our agent Miguel wasn't helpful, and the employees at the main reception downstairs were rude and wouldn't help with questions. At 7am on September 1, 2023, my 18 year old daughter went to use the downstairs bathroom while we waited for our taxi. A tall man who worked there knocked on the door and yelled at her to hurry up. When we later complained at reception, they laughed at us. There was no customer service at all. The shower and hair dryer we were told we could use didn't work, and the bathroom barely flushed. They also kept our 2k peso deposit, saying the barely working toilet was clogged. We'll never stay here again, and I'll tell everyone I know who's going to Manila to avoid this place.

Amazing!

The refrigerator and bathroom were covered in mold, the sofa was too dirty to use, and there was hair everywhere. I had to remove five cockroaches from my room, and the place stinks. We got only dirty fleece blankets, no regular ones. The pool costs extra, and there were no free toiletries to be found. You're expected to take out your own trash or face a fine. Whenever you ask reception something, they send you to a personal agent, whom you have to call yourself, but who doesn't answer. Worst hotel ever. Save yourself the hassle and don't book it.
