Shore 3 Residences by LUXE

I got a small unit by the pool. It was compact and cute, but I wasn’t keen on the outside of the building. It made me think of an overcrowded Hong Kong Apartment.

The units are on the small side, but you can get to just about everything easily from here. Even with Pasay’s busy streets, it’s a good option if you’re after somewhere quiet.

The building itself felt substandard, with thin walls. I could hear the neighbors’ TV and doors opening and closing, so it wasn’t very comfortable as an AirBNB. I was new to the place and trying to find my way to the unit where my friend had already checked in. The heat had me a bit confused, and there were no signs showing which tower to use, so I accidentally went into the wrong elevator. I thought the elevators in that lobby all went to the same level, then realized my mistake and went to the other side. A staff member in a blue uniform, maybe a guard or concierge, confronted me as I headed to the correct elevator lobby. He shouted at me in front of other people instead of asking politely, which was embarrassing and made me feel as if I were being treated like a criminal. It left me feeling that some Filipino people are ill-mannered. I have a good heart, so I didn’t report the worker or try to get him fired. The security guards and concierge came across as obnoxious and unprofessional.

The stay in our Airbnb unit at Shore 3 Residences in Pasay was comfortable, but the pool hours were a letdown. It only opens at 9 AM and can close as early as 6 PM. With checkout between 10 AM and 3 PM, guests may have almost no chance to swim before leaving. We asked why it closed early and were told there are no lights in the pool area. That should have been explained in advance. The schedule wasn’t clearly communicated, which made the experience disappointing.
