BADLADZ Beach and Dive Resort

We spent most of our time enjoying the view, having a beer, and relaxing, so the basic room suited us fine and was excellent value. It had a comfortable bed, cold AC, and a hot shower. The food was great, and the massages left us feeling relaxed and refreshed. It's quiet here, but still close enough to town for a quick ride. We'd stay again.

The location worked really well for me: it's outside the main town, but a tricycle ride takes about 10 minutes. I spent two nights here and found it peaceful and quiet, with attentive staff who were happy to offer solutions. The rooms have the basics, and there are several food options for foreigners. I'll definitely come back.

We loved relaxing by the sea, taking walks along the beach, and using the pool. The resort is quiet and private, with beach access, helpful staff, and great massages. Our clean, comfortable room was good value, and the food was one of the highlights. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially the nachos, sisig, and bulalo. We were there for diving, and Volker was friendly, knowledgeable, and able to work with our different experience levels. I did my AOW while my partner completed his OW, then we went on several fun dives. The 7.30am starts were worth it because we got out on the water ahead of the crowds. The diving was incredible, with wrecks, turtles, and coral. We had a relaxing, wonderful five nights and would love to return.

Sean and his team made this stay special. Everyone was efficient, professional, and smiling. There's an interview with Sean's wife Mylene on the wall by the bar, and I suggest giving it a read. It sums things up. The restaurant and outdoor terrace look out over the sea, a lovely place to watch local fishermen or have a drink outside. I tried several dishes from the extensive menu and was happy with their quality, flavor, and freshness. My regular room, booked just a few days ahead, was upgraded without me asking; it was spacious, very clean, and comfortable for my seven-night stay. Badladz is opposite secluded Small Tabinay beach and a short walk or ride from town. It's well placed for exploring the sights of PG, and the resort can arrange dives, excursions, or motorbike rentals.
