Edgewater Dive & Spa Resort

Richard, the owner, is a really cool guy, and it was always fun having a chat with him. Jeff brought cheerful energy and gave us the best service. Julia, Marlon and Billy also deserve a big shout-out for their excellent dive guiding. The staff create a warm, cozy, family-like atmosphere that stood out from other places we visited in the Philippines. Add the great service, excellent location, welcoming feel, and incredible kitchen, and this is the best diving resort in Puerto Galera. Period.

Strong recommendation for this dive resort in PG. You can actually pick your dive sites, which is rare. The guide, Thank you Martin, really means it when he says, “Wherever you want to go, we’ll go!” The exception is the Verde islands, which need a minimum number of divers unless you’re willing to charter the boat yourself 😄 Couldn’t be happier!

We stayed in the newly built Garden view house, which was comfortable, with soft beds and a great view. The sea taxi ride was short, and the friendly, helpful staff were there to greet us. There are amazing dive sites nearby, and Marlon is a great dive master to have looking after you. After diving, we liked unwinding with a swim in the pool and a drink on the seaside terrace. The food was great too, with a good range of Western and Filipino dishes. We had a wonderful long weekend at Edgewater and loved the place and company. We’ll definitely come back for more good times!

The owner and staff made us feel like friends, and that was probably our favorite part of the stay. We spent four nights at Edgewater, a small hotel on a beautiful bay, and really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and pleasant, with a very comfortable bed and a good shower. Diving was easy to arrange at different times, including around 9 or 10 and in the afternoon, and the team was flexible. The dive sites are close by, the dive masters are lovely, and Christian, the boat driver, is hilarious. We liked everything and would recommend it to anyone visiting sabang. Thanks for everything.
