Veronica's Inn

The beach was nice to swim at, with hardly anyone else around, and the drive to White Beach was about five minutes. We took a tricycle from the port for 250 pesos and rented a motorcycle during the stay. For a 3D2N visit, it was worth the money. It's a 3-star hotel with a towel and kit, working AC, a clean bathroom, and a shower and bidet that both worked. Check-in was delayed by an hour, and the cook was late too, so we didn't get to try the food. There's a corkage fee. The pools weren't working, maybe because maintaining them is hard at a beachfront property. We'd recommend it to family and friends.

The room was wow, and the linens were very fresh. The morning shift server, whose name we forgot, was amazing and very hospitable. Food came very late and at different times, and the attic bathroom had an odd smell when flushed. Anna, one of the service staff, needs urgent service training. She never smiled or made us feel welcome, and acted as if we were a disturbance whenever we asked her something. That's a red flag for the business and needs urgent attention. Everything else was great except for Anna's service.

Veronica's Inn is cozy and simple, with comfortable, clean rooms and good amenities. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to help whenever we needed something. The food was good and reasonably priced, and shuttle service is available for a fee. It's a little farther from the main beaches, which suited us because we wanted a quieter stay. Not the most luxurious place, but a great choice for our time in Puerto Galera.

I've stayed at Veronica’s inn a couple of times, and it's the best inn I've found in Puerto Galera, Philippines. The rooms are comfortable, the food is amazing, and the owner and staff are lovely. The infinity pool looks out over the ocean, and my favorite spot is the bar right in front of a beach. Sometimes you can hang out with the very friendly owner, who always checks that my family and I are having a good time. I'll definitely stay again when I'm back in the Philippines and recommend it to anyone I know. It's easy to get to from Manila. Just check the boat times with the port because the schedule changes. If you miss the ferry, there are smaller boats that can take you.
