The place has a really relaxing, artsy feel, and the staff were friendly and easy to deal with. My friend and I also had clean bathrooms, good internet, and tasty waffles for breakfast. I’d recommend Bamboo Hostel to travelers looking for some peace and quiet in Puerto Princesa. :)

Cheap, comfortable, and easygoing. This is the best hostel I’ve stayed at in the Philippines. Any backpacker looking for somewhere to stay should come here.

The location isn’t central, but it’s a nice place to relax in a hammock. The hammock lounge and outdoor dorm have insect nets, and each mattress has one too, so I didn’t worry about bugs. It was 300P a night for an outside dorm room, with free waffles and nice staff.

It’s quiet and very clean, and getting around is easy. The staff are friendly too. A great place to stay, and a must while in Palawan.
