We stayed for 14 days and loved it the whole time. It worked well for couples or friends, and the location suited what we were there for. The hosts, Danny and Linda, were helpful whenever we needed anything, brought clean towels and bed linen, and took out the trash when the bin filled up. During a power outage that lasted a few hours, Danny brought over a small generator so we could still use fans and other appliances. The rooms have a television with satellite TV and air conditioning, plus a small outdoor kitchen where you can cook pretty much whatever you need. There’s also a fridge, though using it costs extra. For the accommodation price, it’s a really good deal.

Ate Linda was very helpful and accommodating, arranging our Underground River tour and van to El Nido. Dalindas Homestay really does feel homey. I’d recommend it to travellers looking for an affordable, relaxing stay in Puerto Princesa.

Homestays are new to me. It’s not five-star accommodation, but I felt like part of the community right away. The locals were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and the place was affordable. I also got good referrals for food, tours, and places to visit.

I loved how friendly they were. They tell you what things cost and arrange them for you. They found me a ride for a tenth of what the guys in the street were trying to charge. It’s nice when you find people who are on your side.
