We only had two nights at Orokasa before heading to Port Barton, and I really wish we could have stayed longer. Sir Rommel, the owner, made us feel welcome and was very accommodating. The rooms were clean and well kept, breakfast was wonderful, and the Wi-Fi was good enough for us to work without hassle or lag. They even have a backup generator for brownouts. There’s a pool, plus darts, card games, billiards and a karaoke room. Wet markets, stores and restaurants are nearby, and a tricycle into the city proper costs only 20 pesos. We rented their pick-up van, and his son Rome was kind, humble and just as accommodating. This Japan-themed guesthouse was well worth it for us.

The attic room was where we spent our two nights with this lovely family. Breakfast was superb, and they had free water and coffee too. There’s a mini-gym and a small swimming pool. Everyone was so friendly that my only regret is not staying longer.

OroCasa Guesthouse was in a perfect spot for exploring the city. We found the rooms clean and cozy, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it. 4.5/5 stars.

You can catch both sunrise and sunset from the roof deck. The place is tucked away in an interior area, so noise wasn't something to worry about. NavForWest camp is a useful point of reference for finding it. Inside, the Japanese theme gives this bed and breakfast a little-Japan feel in the middle of Puerto Princesa, with lots of greenery and bonsai pieces, plus a koi pond and dip pool. The hosts were superb, and the rooms were clean and cozy.

The owner was great, and the location is ideal. Highly recommended.
