OYO 611 Audissie Pension

We paid 800 pesos per day, and our stay went well. The place is very accessible to the baywalk and near the city proper. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Before heading to the airport for our 4PM flight on checkout day, we asked the front desk, and I think the owner, if we could check out at 2PM instead of the usual 12PM. We explained we might walk around the city first, and they said that was fine. At checkout, a different front desk attendant tried to charge us for the extra two hours. I explained we'd already discussed it and had approval, and she agreed. Very nice and accommodating!

Basic rooms that work well for a short stay, and I'd come back if I'm in Puerto. The owner was friendly, and the place was clean and very affordable. The rooms were quiet with a great ocean view. Breakfast service was slow, and the shower was cold only. Internet works in the Lobby.

The owner gave us a discount and a free extra bed. The room was simple, with a powerful air conditioning unit, though the hot shower wasn't working. Cell reception generally wasn't good in the area, but free Wi-Fi was available in the lobby. The staff were courteous, friendly, and always smiling. It's close to SM Puerto Princesa, so the location is good. I'd come back when I return to PPS.

The room itself was okay, though the shower had no hot water. The service is why I’m giving one star. We agreed to the price after the front desk woman showed us the room, but when we came back downstairs to pay and get the key, she quoted a higher amount. They also quoted 200 pesos to wash two shirts and a towel. When I asked for each item’s price, they seemed flustered and showed me the laundry menu, which put the total at 65 pesos. The next morning they asked for 150 pesos when I picked everything up. I argued that we’d agreed on 65 the night before, and they eventually accepted that amount. The room was about a 3/5, but the service gets 0/5. They’ll try to take your money with a smile.
