Villa Kalachuchi B&B

The staff were so kind, attentive, and flexible, and we felt truly cared for throughout our stay. There are two charming guest houses as well as a main house with an open dining area, a lovely place to enjoy the calm atmosphere. The stunning pool and lush, idyllic layout make the property feel private and close to nature, with plenty of comfort. We had a wonderful, peaceful stay in Puerto Princesa. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a personal, thoughtfully designed retreat in Palawan.

This is a homestay with respectful residents and outstanding care. Jinelyn did everything she could to make sure we were comfortable, and I appreciated how attentive the service was when I had requests. The open air rooms let you hear the sounds of nature. It's a good fit for a low maintenance traveler looking to relax away from crowds and tourists, and comfortable getting around by trike or on foot. If you want hotel-like accommodation, this probably isn't for you.

The villa was exactly what we needed, surrounded by nature. We had it to ourselves while we were there. Gene, the young woman who cooks breakfast, was wonderful and really helpful. I'd definitely come back.

We arrived late at night with no internet and nowhere else to stay, only to discover the property was full, even though our Expedia reservation had been confirmed and paid for. The staff on site were very kind and tried to help by calling the manager, but the manager wouldn't answer and made no effort to sort things out. It was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience, and we were left stranded. We had to find somewhere else at the last minute, which was extremely expensive, while Expedia could take up to 48 hours to process the refund. I absolutely don't recommend Villa Kalachuchi V.K. because of the manager's complete irresponsibility.
