We paid extra for electricity to use a rice cooker, but then weren’t allowed to use it, so that money felt wasted. The rules also seem unfair: outside food and drinks, even soft drinks, are banned, yet Grab deliveries are allowed in. Food prices are high for the service and experience. At the snack bar, we weren’t given receipts, and there didn’t seem to be a proper cash register. Since businesses are required to issue official receipts, this raised compliance concerns for us, and we’re considering reporting it to the BIR. When we asked a staff member how the jacuzzi worked, they just said, “I don’t know either.” Staff should know the facilities they’re responsible for. The policies, service, and prices made the stay not worth it.

The pool and atmosphere were great, but I can’t get past being charged the adult rate for my 7-year-old niece. The staff said she exceeded the height requirement. I kept explaining her age and even offered to show her school ID, but they still refused and insisted she was too tall. That doesn’t seem right. If the price is based on height, the price list should say so instead of listing adult and child rates. I hope this doesn’t happen again.

Our flight was delayed, and we just wanted to rest as soon as possible. Instead, my roommate was made to switch rooms in the middle of the night, at 1am. The staff could have discussed the transfer with us the next day, but insisted it happen then. I understand they have rules, but that felt very inconsiderate and not guest friendly.

The charcoal we bought inside was wet, so we had to buy another one. It was already nearly double the price, and bringing our own wasn’t allowed. Drinks were banned too, even soft drinks, which meant buying everything there at higher prices. For a resort with only a few pools, the entrance fee also felt overpriced. The whole setup came across as more focused on making money than on the guest experience.
