EJ checked on us every day to make sure all was well, and even insisted on helping when I was in a hurry. That attentiveness really stood out. The guards and other staff greeted us warmly, too. The room was a little dated, but cozy and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite being on a busy road. Housekeeping kept it clean and left fresh towels daily. Check-in was quick and smooth, and we were welcomed as soon as we arrived. Of the three hotels we stayed at in Timog, this was our favorite. Cleanliness, service and quietness were all 10/10. The spa was exceptionally relaxing, too. We’ll be back.

The birthday surprises kept coming. Although I didn’t pursue the room decorations after hearing we’d need to supply the materials, the hotel still put birthday greetings on the bed and a message on the screen. Then, at breakfast on our last day, staff sang “Happy Birthday” to my wife and gave her a complimentary lava cake. We were so full we asked them to pack it to go. We spent two nights there last April for her birthday, and it was one of our best stays. The room was spacious for a couple and could fit a small family. The pool is small, but has a lovely city view. We also appreciated the spacious parking beside the hotel, nearby restaurants, and the McDonald’s almost directly across from the property. Friendly staff greeted us with a refreshing welcome drink. Breakfast depends on the day. Weekends have a plated main plus buffet breads, salads, fruits, and an egg station. Weekdays are plated, though you can still ask for bread and fruit. The hotel is affordable and good value, and we’d recommend it for a family staycation.

The hotel is small and a bit aged, but the room was great for the price. Staff were extremely courteous, and service was good. There are lots of places to eat nearby, so the location worked well for me.

The front desk staff were pleasant and tried to help by upgrading me to a suite, but both rooms had problems. My low rating for the staff reflects the cleaning and room oversight, not their attitude or effort. I stayed one night and found ripped pillowcases, stained towels, broken tiles, and visible black mold in the washroom. A balled-up Kleenex had been left behind, and the slipper bottoms turned black quickly after I walked around, which made it seem the floors hadn’t been cleaned properly. I’m fine with an older hotel, but basic hygiene and maintenance weren’t up to standard. With better upkeep, this could be a much better stay. Google should do a better job filtering paid or bot reviews. I don’t see how this hotel has a 4.3/5 rating.
