Stayed 10 days. The place was quiet and clean, with no bugs or roaches, and the bed and pillows were soft. Wi-Fi worked well, but there was no smart TV, only local channels. The hot shower was good, and the AC was quiet and cool. They have beer, soda, and snacks, plus a restaurant, though the portions are small for the price. Great spot for walking to everything we needed.

I stayed one night and forgot my earrings beside the telephone when I left. I checked my bags and pockets, but they weren’t there. I realized what had happened and returned to the hotel the same day, less than three hours later. Staff let me look for them, but they weren’t where I’d left them or anywhere else in the room. An employee said they had cleaned the room and hadn’t seen them. I’m sure I left them by the phone. The telephone was in a different position, so the room had been cleaned, and the earrings may have fallen on the floor or been stolen. The only person in that room would have been a hotel employee. I know it’s my responsibility to look after my things, but I expected the staff to be honest and return valuables left behind. Other hotels would hand over items guests had left. Shame on the employee who took my earrings instead of returning them when they had the chance. If they aren’t returned today, I’ll share this experience with others. This isn’t good employee practice.

Best affordable hotel we’ve stayed at! We took the ₱1000 rate for one night, valid for 22 hours, and paid a ₱1,000 security deposit that’s refundable after checkout. The staff were kind, polite, and accommodating. The room was clean and comfy, with good AC, soft pillows and beds, toiletries, towels, a working TV, and tables and chairs. 11/10 💗

The room was comfortable enough for a night, with cable TV, a bedside phone, a table and chairs, and several outlets. Snacks and breakfast are inexpensive, the internet worked well, and there’s a smoking area in the building. It’s also very close to Cubao ARANETA center, though I didn’t see any convenience stores nearby. Parking is available for a fee, and check-in requires a refundable 1k deposit. The room rate itself is affordable. The main problem is the noise. The hotel sits beside a busy road, with buses, trucks, and tricycles passing even in the early hours. I needed to work and make calls to people in the U.S., but my noise-cancelling headphones couldn’t block it out. It was so loud and distracting that I couldn’t sleep. I could also hear people shouting in rooms and hallways. Thicker windows and soundproofing would make a big difference.

The basic breakfast is served only in the morning, and it wasn’t anything special. Still, there are lots of places to eat and shop nearby if you want something better. I keep coming back to Glory Hotel Cubao because it’s affordable and comfortable enough, with the basics covered. This is my second or third stay, and I’ve left satisfied each time. It’s right in the middle of Cubao, which makes getting around easy. The rooms are small but cozy, generally clean, and usually quiet after a busy day or long trip. Staff are polite, and check-in is quick. For the price, it feels like a bargain. If you can spend more, you might look at a more established place like Red Planet for extra perks.
