Finding a genuinely pet-friendly hotel in Quezon City can be hard, but staying at Hotel DreamWorld Cubao with my dog was easy and fantastic. The staff were welcoming and attentive, so checking in with a pet was stress-free. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely cooled by the AC, a comfortable spot after visiting the nearby malls. It's just a minute's walk from Araneta Coliseum, with lots of dining options around. I'd recommend it to anyone travelling with furbabies, especially for a big event like the Philippine Circuit. We'll definitely come back! #PawfectStay

I checked in on Jan. 30, 2026, after booking through Agoda on the night of Jan. 29. The first room had sticky, slippery floors, as if they'd been mopped with oil. It felt disgusting and unsafe. I told the Front desk and was moved, though I had to wait while the other room was cleaned. The hallway outside my second room on the 3rd Floor smelled like vomit and trench, but the smell didn't get into the room, so I let that go. After I took a nap, I woke up to find the whole hotel had no water. The front desk said they were repairing it, couldn't give an estimated fix time, and had no backup for this kind of incident. I'd come to relax and shower after a long trip, and instead felt even more miserable. That was the last straw. I contacted AGODA to seek a refund and report the complaint, since most hotels don't refund you if you didn't book directly. I was in touch with Agoda from 750 pm until midnight, gathering information and evidence to support my claim. The worst part was the hotel's response when AGODA asked why I couldn't be refunded. They told AGODA that I had declined their offer to move rooms and that I'd only been advised the water outage would last 30 mins. The pictures on the site also seemed off, possibly taken years ago. The hotel wasn't as nice as the photos suggest, it's old and needs an upgrade. Book at your own risk.

The location is convenient and the staff were friendly, so it works for travellers or people with errands nearby. But my room was dirty. There was dust, hair, and dirt on the floor, and soap scum had built up in the toilet soap holder. I couldn't tell whether they properly clean rooms or just change the bedding and blankets after checkout.

It's a cheap place to stay, so it might suit you if that's what you're after. The room looked comfortable, and when we reported a bathroom leak, they promptly agreed to move us. Still, there were no TV channels to watch, the room smelled foul, and the lights felt too dim to me.
