We booked as a family at around 10 PM. The floor was sticky and filthy as soon as we walked in, and there were cigarette filters scattered under the bed. It looked like nobody had swept there in years. When I checked the cabinets, they were dusty and covered in cobwebs, with cockroaches running around. We also had no blankets or hygiene kits. I asked the front desk for them, and they told us to wait. Two hours later, we still had nothing. When I checked again, they said they were still getting the items from storage. The hotel is disgusting, and the service is extremely poor.

The reception staff weren’t helpful, and there’s no window in the tiny room. The shower was like something from a nightmare. The pillows smelled like rotten bananas, and there was dirt everywhere. For what you get, this isn’t cheap at all. A 24-hour stay is about 25 dollars, which is a lot by Philippine standards. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve stayed in plenty. Really bad.

I needed somewhere temporary to stay near my scheduled appointment, so I booked this place for PHP 650 for six hours. The price doesn’t match what the rooms offer. As soon as I entered the lobby, I noticed the musty smell. Keep your expectations low and you won’t be disappointed. There’s a nearby two-star RedDoorz that I think is a much better option, though keep in mind their check-in starts at 2 pm.

The front desk staff weren’t helpful or very knowledgeable about how things work, and some amenities were out of order. My cheapest room was dusty, with cobwebs all over. The air conditioner made strange noises and was loud. There were cockroaches everywhere, and the pillow smelled. The towel was old, torn along the edges, and looked really dirty.

The room was dirty, the bed smelled like bleach, and the air conditioner wasn’t working, so it was too hot. The lobby smelled so bad I felt like I was going to vomit. On the way upstairs to the second floor, we saw a room standing open with pictures of sexual positions on the wall. What a shock. We were three people but the bed was only meant for two, so we asked for an extra pillow. We called the counter more than ten times, and it took nearly two hours to arrive. There was no extra bed. The staff were frowning and didn’t know how to smile, and the help was poor. There was only one receptionist checking people in, so we had to wait several minutes. I also noticed that nearly everyone checking in seemed to be young couples. With short-time stays, I wonder why it’s called Traveller’s Inn. Maybe it should be called a drive-in, if you know what I mean. It doesn’t seem meant for travellers, but for lovers who are... The hotel is expensive but feels cheap, from staff to room. The owner should get better management. Really, really bad.
