At 6 in the morning, after I’d finally fallen asleep around midnight, a room boy banged hard on my door and said I was already overtime. He claimed I’d booked for just six hours and that they’d opened my room around 6pm while I was away. I’d checked in around 10am and paid 1650 for 24 hours in a standard room on the fourth floor. I told him to check with the cashier or the guard who saw me parking, or look at the CCTV. He went down to reception, then knocked again 30 minutes later while I was trying to get back to sleep. He kept insisting I’d checked in at noon for only six hours. I’m glad none of my things went missing, but that service was rude and poor. I needed a room to do my makeup for an event at the MICE venue. The room smelled of cigar smoke, had a few tiny roaches, and the slippers were very untidy. There was no free bottled water, shampoo, or toothbrush. The event finished at 10pm, and I returned to the apartelle afterward. It’s an apartelle, not a hotel, and there’s no elevator to the fourth floor. Worst hotel. This is no paradise!

We found a cheap room without booking ahead, and it was easy to get to since it’s right along the highway. The room was spacious enough for four, with a TV, restroom, towels, and plenty of power sockets. There weren’t many toiletries, but the room got really cold, which we liked. My friends and I had a great stay. It’s handy to have a place like this for the night after going to a nearby KTV or bars.

We came to the Philippines on a family vacation, and the staff were friendly, but the beds were very uncomfortable. The fridge needed replacing, and staff had to show us how to switch on both the air conditioning and the shower. Getting into the shower was very difficult. I’d give it zero stars if I could. The owner or head manager really needs to update the place to better accommodate seniors and people with physical disabilities.

The rooms are on the small side, but they’re bright and clean, with cold AC and a smart TV. There’s no room service, though you can get refreshments at reception. You’ll have to manage a couple flights of stairs since there’s no elevator. For its age, the place is surprisingly well maintained.

I paid 895 pesos for a night’s stay of 10 hours, which seemed like a good price. I checked in at 10:15pm, and the clerk set the key and receipt on the counter, saying checkout was at 8:15am. A guy took the key, carried one of my bags, and showed me up to the third floor. The room was basic, just somewhere to sleep. There was a hair dryer and basic Sky cable, but no soap or shampoo, and the internet connection wasn’t very good. The sink didn’t drain properly, the toilet barely flushed, and the water pressure was very low. The listing mentioned no hot water at the sink, and there’s no elevator. The guy left my receipt on the bed with the key. Around 8am, two men knocked and said I was supposed to have checked out at 7. I went downstairs to explain what the previous clerk had told me, but the new clerk called me a liar and charged me 200 pesos. I won’t return. It was a bad experience and bad business, and I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone.
