Foxy's Beach Resort

We spent four nights here and didn’t want to leave. It’s a great choice for a calm, quiet holiday, with the resort right on the beach. A one-minute walk takes you to warm water and sand, and most of the time we were the only swimmers, with the sea to ourselves. The huge, deep pool was simply amazing, and the rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. The restaurant served high-quality, delicious food. You can tell the owners care about guests and choose good ingredients. The Thai Chicken Curry, House club sandwich, and Spaghetti bolognese are worth trying. The breakfast we had at Foxy’s was the best in the Philippines. The staff were super friendly, and Michelle and Bryan are brilliant people with a lovely love story and a humane way of treating everyone. If you’re lucky, you might hear love songs from Michelle, who used to be a professional singer. Foxy’s is a great place to relax, feel at home, and be treated kindly in Palawan.

Foxy's BEACH Resort sits about 4 km from San Vicente, tucked away in a peaceful corner of Palawan. It feels far from the bustle, like a place that invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. Brian, an attentive and discreet Englishman, and Michael, a charming Filipina, look after the resort with warmth and care. The beach is calm and quiet, a good spot to sit with your thoughts or listen to distant seabirds. The spacious pool is beautifully set, with golden reflections, and the rooms are roomy, clean, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped to feel like home. The food is well prepared with fresh ingredients, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is generous and tasty, a lovely start to the day. Foxy's feels like an experience in a place where tourism hasn’t erased authenticity. It’s somewhere you may want to return to, or never leave.

The rooms were fine, with good air conditioning and nice hot water in the shower. It’s a comfortable resort and the owners are friendly. The only downside for me was the very weak WiFi. My tablet kept losing its connection.

We spent three nights here on our way to El Nido. If you’re looking for an affordable stay with comfortable rooms, great hospitality, and a sandy beach that feels private, this is the place. The beach is secluded, sandy, and flat, with calm water. The rooms are comfortable and practically arranged. I liked the small industrial fridge stocked with beer, water, and soft drinks. More than anything, Michelle and Brian made the stay. They were attentive and came up with the right answer to every question. Michelle has a cheerful, positive spirit, and Brian’s smart life experience added something extra. Enjoy!
