The air conditioning worked well, and the place already has a great vibe. The owner is hands-on and genuinely caring, going out of his way to help guests enjoy both the city and their trip. You can tell he's still working to improve the property. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere, and the staff are so friendly. I was traveling solo, and the owner even made his signature burger for me at 7 in the morning. That was going the extra mile. The burger was top notch, definitely try it!

We stayed five nights in February 2024. The grounds are spacious, quiet and full of plants, with lots of beautiful paintings by the owner. It's just a two minute walk to the beach, and the hostel has a kitchen where you can cook your own food. We could also bring in drinks and snacks from outside. Whenever we came back from a tour, our room had already been cleaned. The staff and owner were very nice. On our last day, I asked if I could stay until 6 pm because our flight was at 10:55 pm. Checkout was at noon and extensions usually only went to 3 pm, but the staff checked with Sir Ninio, and he let me stay until 6 without charging for those extra hours. It was budget friendly, and I'll definitely come back. Thanks to Sir Ninio, Lanny and the rest of the staff.

There's a kitchen where you can cook food you've brought from the city, and Yuki the dog runs to the gate to greet guests. The owners and staff are sweet and welcoming, so it feels like a home away from home. It's peaceful, a good place to rest after touring Samal or island hopping, and suits people who appreciate their own space, quiet, art and nature. It isn't a resort or right by the beach.
