This was a really awful experience. I booked on April 16, 2025, and they sent just one message through Agoda, at 6 am on April 17. Imagine the stress of travelling all the way from Manila, dealing with long queues, and arriving in La Union that same day only to be told at the last minute that they were fully booked, even though I’d already paid. I had to contact someone from the transient myself, the person described as the manager. Instead of arranging a proper refund, they said they’d move me to another place, which was even farther from the sea. I asked for details about the relocation and got no answer. I kept following up, but they didn’t bother to update me. I contacted Agoda too, but they said we’d made some kind of agreement over the phone. That’s completely untrue. We spoke for one minute early that morning, and nothing was agreed. The last screenshot of our chat shows me asking for relocation details, with no reply or follow-up call. I hardly ever post complaints like this, but this was the last straw. I even messaged politely at first, yet they still acted as if I were at fault. Unbelievable.

I was impressed by my stay at Bed and Bath La Union. It’s clean, modern, and well looked after, and the rooms are comfortable with the amenities you need. The location makes it easy to get to nearby restaurants and attractions. Staff were friendly and attentive, and ready to help whenever I had a request. I’d highly recommend Bed and Bath La Union for a comfortable, convenient stay in the area. Five stars!

The food was great, everyone seemed happy, and the nature all around was the best part. We visited a few weeks ago, and it turned out beautiful. I didn’t expect it to be this good. Best place in town, I’ve already recommended it to friends and will be back soon!

They put me in a second house across the street because the main house was fully booked, and they overcharged me for it. The toilet didn’t work and the shower was broken, so I had to wash using the same bucket of cold water they used to flush the toilet. When I told them about the broken toilet, they did nothing. The kitchen was very dirty, and I got food poisoning from their food. Some of the family were nice, but staying there was a nightmare.

The price per night is affordable, and the rooms are quite good. The comfort room and bathroom are okay. My concern is the hump at the entrance. It’s too high for an ordinary vehicle, and even my pickup truck scraped its under-chassis brace. Still, I liked staying here.
