Prince Transient House

The rate is the best part, especially if you're traveling solo. The rooms are clean and comfortable, Wi-Fi is great, and there’s free coffee and water refills in the common area. They also have secure parking inside the house for small cars. Highly recommended!

There’s free water, and the rooms are spacious with enough air conditioning. Towels and blankets are available if you ask. The restroom water pressure is high but the volume is low, and there was no water in the bidet or shower. Staff weren’t very friendly. The place is a little hidden from the main road.

We booked through Facebook and had good phone communication with the owner. She was friendly and nice, and the transaction went smoothly. I’d go back to Prince Transient House, and I hope the customer service improves. The rooms have also been improved since the photos shared by previous clients, and it seems Ma'am Aileen reads reviews and takes concerns seriously. The room and property were nice, but the bathroom heater and exhaust fan weren’t working. I also wish there were a separate contact number or person to handle inquiries promptly. This is just a heads-up about our experience, which was mainly affected by one staff member. She wasn’t welcoming and seemed gloomy, and we felt she watched us with side glances whenever we moved around. It gave us the impression that we weren’t welcome, even though we’d paid to stay there. Most of my friends noticed her attitude too. I’d read a review from five years earlier mentioning the same concern about a staff member, and it still seemed to be an issue. For example, when we politely asked if there was a bakery nearby, she sarcastically replied that it was far away, outside, and that we’d already passed plenty of places on the way without buying anything. We were shocked and just went quiet. It was frustrating to meet that kind of unprofessional behavior, especially when guests may be tired after hours on the road. It also seemed to us that she chose who to accommodate and treat hospitably. Her attitude changed suddenly when the owner arrived at the Transient House. You’re lucky if you don’t run into this staff member. Her attitude annoyed us so much that it stayed with us even as we went to sleep. Honestly, she was the highlight of our stay. This is only a heads-up about the staff issue and isn’t meant to harm Ma'am Aileen's business or Prince Transient House. Thank you, Prince Transient House.

We ended up here by accident after missing our ferry to coron, and it was exactly what we could have hoped for. The host was generous and helpful, and a great cook too. The rooms were clean and nice, with both air conditioning and a fan. They also helped us book ferry tickets and local tours.
