The owner was so kind, answered all my questions, provided water, and helped arrange a full day tuk-tuk hire. You can contact them directly if you want a cheap rate. The location is hard to beat, with food places a five-minute walk away, snorkeling spots about a 15-minute drive, and lots of diving schools nearby. There were few or no bugs or mosquitoes while I was there, and the owner clearly puts effort into maintaining the place. It wasn’t very sunny during my stay, so nights felt a little cold. When the sun was out, midday could get slightly hot, but not too bad. Sound carries through the cottages, and the showers have drawbacks, though that seems hard to avoid in a cottage. I didn’t take many photos, but I don’t think you’ll regret booking.

We were usually out by 9 in the morning and didn’t return until after sunset, so the lack of AC wasn’t a problem for us. The trees kept the cottages cool, and the overhead fan did the job. It was a budget-friendly place that suited what we needed. We really liked the owner and all the things this property has going for it.

Really lovely place. Just be aware the walls are thin, we could hear someone having fun all night. On the plus side, you can also ask them to keep it down.
