The view was amazing, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were wonderfully helpful. It’s a very quiet place to stay. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the nice beach, especially with so few other tourists around. The room matched the property photos, the bed was comfortable, and staff were happy to help. Cleaning was available on request. The menu has only a few local and international dishes, but everything we tried tasted good. This was our second visit to San Juan. We chose Charisma because it wasn’t right on the roadside and assumed it would be quieter. Instead, roosters nearby were loud throughout the day and night, which made sleeping difficult. We later learned that some rooms had been renovated with better sound insulation. If we’d known, we would definitely have asked to move. The Wi-Fi was inconsistent. Even so, we had a pleasant stay.

The fighting roosters around the place were noisy day and night, making it really hard to sleep.

We spent a day at this hotel and restaurant and it felt like paradise. The white-sand beach is beautiful, with plenty of loungers and hammocks for taking in the surroundings. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind and recharge. There was a great range of food and everything was delicious. Service was exceptional, and the friendly staff made sure we were comfortable. With the lovely beach, amenities, food and service, it’s a wonderful spot for a day trip or a longer stay. I’d highly recommend it and can’t wait to return.
