DaRosa Del Mar

The beachfront was quiet, clean, and uncrowded, which suited us perfectly. Our room and the facilities were well maintained and comfortable, with hardly any bugs around. The restaurant was another plus: tasty food made fresh, at affordable prices. This was our first time at DaRosa Del Mar Beach Resort & Restaurant and on the island, and it turned out better than we expected. Booking through Booking.com was clear, with no surprises, and the resort replied quickly to our questions before we arrived, even though we were on the other side of the world. It’s a peaceful, well-run place with good value. We’d gladly stay again and recommend it for a quiet island break.

There are chairs and tables by the beach, and the view is amazing. It’s serene and quiet, with white sand. Our room was spacious and clean, and they provided both shower and beach towels. There are also racks outside for hanging things. The restaurant had plenty of choices and the food was pretty good. The staff were accommodating, and the resort is near Alegria, Pacifico, Little Hawaii, North Dirty Kitchen, The Coconut Nut, and other places to eat. One of my favorite stays, highly recommend :)

Spent a week here and loved the mellow, almost paradise-like feel. It’s calm, with none of the crowds, lines, traffic, or everyday hustle I wanted to get away from. This isn’t a party place. It’s somewhere to unplug, relax, and let the sun set the pace. The restaurant menu has something for different tastes. The staff were top notch, and the cats and dog made the place feel even more homey. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

We came from Canada and stayed at DaRosa for two nights in November 2025. The beach is lovely and clean, and the area is quiet and away from crowds. KiKi beach, where you can surf, is within walking distance. Our cottage was well cared for, and the room was exceptionally clean, not a grain of sand in sight. The bathroom was in great shape, very clean, and had a big shower. Rose and Dave, along with the workers, were kind and attentive, helped with travel suggestions, and arranged a driver for us. The food offered a good mix of Filipino and North American dishes. Thanks for a wonderful, memorable stay. We’d come back!
