Emoha Dive Resort

A storm stopped the ferries to dumaguete, so we ended up here by accident. Getting “stuck” turned out to be one of the best things that could have happened. It's a beautiful resort, the owners are lovely and made us feel welcome, and the food was great. We also did a dive on the house reef right in front of the hotel and would absolutely recommend it. We wish we'd had longer, and hope to come back for more diving and time at the resort. Thank you, Jean Michel, Lottie and all the staff, for making us feel safe and at home.

There are only six units, so the resort feels quiet and peaceful, just right after whale shark swimming or a trip to one of the falls. Our room was lovely and spacious, full of sunlight, with a good-sized balcony over the water. The food choices were varied and delicious. The owners introduced themselves, took time to talk with us about our stay and interests, and gave us great recommendations for the island. They also helped arrange transportation more than once, which was very useful. The facility and atmosphere felt incredible and personal. I can't say enough good things about this place.

The house reef just off the beach was in pristine condition, with lots of coral and marine life. We also loved the quiet, cozy feel of this place, which has six rooms, during our six relaxing nights. The owners checked in with us every day and offered guidance and support, and the staff were just as caring. The food was top notch, with plenty of choices. We'd definitely recommend it and are already trying to work out when we can return.

The diving was outstanding. Our guides were highly skilled and attentive, and every dive became a memorable one. We came with friends, and the resort exceeded what we expected. The location is stunning, and the spacious hotel has clearly been put together with a lot of thought. Every meal was delicious, and the service staff were warm and attentive, always checking that we had what we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.
