The hotel trainees were helpful, but they didn't know the policies or procedures, and the reception seemed to have more interns than regular staff. When I needed a little ice at 8pm to use a hot compress on my sprained ankle, they had none. There was no refrigerator either. Both toilets we saw were spacious, but there was nowhere to hang anything. The first one had puddles on the floor, a shower curtain instead of a door, and low water pressure, so we asked to move. In the second room, only one of the two sinks worked. The toilets seemed poorly maintained overall. The hotel itself felt gaudy. I've never seen a lobby doubling as a showroom for art reproductions, sculptures, and giant vases, while also having a sari-sari store.

After midnight, there were strange sounds and faint knocks at the door. The place is an old Victorian-style hotel, creepy and poorly maintained. The rooms had dusty curtains and a strong musty smell that could trigger a migraine. There was no hot water or drinking water, and the doors had old-fashioned knobs. At 2,000 pesos a night, it's expensive compared with nearby hotels given how poor the facilities are. I would never stay here again or recommend it.

The bedrooms make you feel like royalty, and the halls and rooms all have high ceilings. The function hall has all the amenities, though the comfort rooms need rehabilitation and the directional signs are temporary. I hope they replace those signs with panaflex. The lobby is lavishly decorated with paintings and so many sala sets, it looks like a caravan sale is going on 😄. I love this place.

The rooms were neat, and I had a pleasant night's sleep. Staff were very accommodating, the facilities were quality, and the pool was really clean.

Art lovers will appreciate this hotel. It's a warehouse-like collection of paintings, books, vases, ceramics, and other things turned into a place to stay.
