Blue Deep Resort powered by Cocotel

Breakfast on the balcony of my ocean view cottage was a lovely part of each morning. The resort itself is calm, with several pools and pretty gardens, and the restaurant serves tasty food at fair prices. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the dive resorts, or a quick tricycle ride. The owner and staff were attentive. My room looked a little dated, but the bed was comfortable and it had the essentials: Wi-Fi, hot water, and air conditioning.

The pool water had a very strong chlorine smell, and the pumps seemed weak. In the room, the bathroom had a ceiling fan instead of an exhaust fan, insects came in through the windows, and the ceiling fan and air conditioner were noisy. The switches were confusing, and the mattress and pillows felt hard. The rooms were rather small, too. Food was decent, though portions were small and many dishes, like Tinola and cornbeef, were bland. The stay was okay at best. I hope the resort addresses these issues.

We had a great family vacation here. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the food was good with reasonable prices. A really nice resort for a getaway.

We could hear the beach waves while resting in our room, which was so pleasant. The resort has three pools, including one for kids, and the beach view is lovely. The food was yummy, and I liked that they’re pet friendly. Our bathroom looked a bit old, so I’d give that room a 4/5, but the air conditioner worked well and was nice and cold, and there was a hot shower. Good for family, couple, or friend trips. I enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other travelers.
